Well-sherried whisky from Sweden's ever-wonderful High Coast distillery, Berg is an unpeated single malt initially matured in first-fill bourbon barrels from Kentucky, before being finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. 'Berg' is the Swedish word for mountain, and this particular whisky's colour isn't dissimilar to that of the Nordingrå granite which can be seen on the mountainous landscape surrounding the distillery.
