Vanilla, warming spice, a little chilli and nougat.

Exceptionally nice for an Irish whiskey. Hints of Honey, warm spice and lots of vanilla. Same lingers for a short time In the finish. Not bad for the price
Lots of vanilla (sponge cake and icing) here with a dusting of baking spices and some fizzy sherbet dip and white chocolate but not the most complex and very much a work in progress.
Wanted to try something different while in Dublin last year. The name got my attention. Enjoyed it so much, my son and I each brought a couple bottles back to the States with us. Thrilled to find it at Masters of Malt and ordered more.
I am a Teeling single grain fan,and this Hyde is of equal quality. Smooth and sweet,a lovely sipping whiskey. A real winner.
