A mysterious 12 year old single malt from the Speyside region that was created with non-chill filtration and zero colourants. Only 1,527 bottles ever produced, bottled by Heroes & Heretics for The Classic Series.
Butter, caramel, oak, and seashells.
White chocolate, cereal, toasted almonds, and white pepper.
Mild chilli, elderflowers, savoury biscuits.
This is a really delicious creamy smooth single malt a world away from the powerful Islay offerings and not a hint of peat. Honey and sweet cereal notes. No colouring means it is an authentic pale whisky with a medium finish and no burn . I would say it is an ideal summer whisky and though I am an Ardbeg and Talisker fan it will be a treasured addition to my collection.
