A striking limited edition English single malt created in collaboration between Richard Hammond (off of Top Gear!) and Hawkridge Distillers. Hammond’s Iron Ridge brings together spirit matured in American bourbon casks and finished in rare sherry and red wine casks sourced from France and Spain. This is the first reserve release, according to Hammond, who says he and his friends at Hawkridge Distillery went on a journey for "The rarest and most extraordinary casks we could find".
Rich and inviting with raisin, baked banana, and treacle layered over vanilla, oak, and gentle smoke.
Caramelised fruit, honeyed spice, and soft tannic oak from the wine and sherry influence.
Long, warming, and gently smoky with lingering notes of dried fruit and dark sugar.
