The first whiskey from the Ha'penny range! This blended Irish whiskey was created with spirits drawn from four types of cask - one portion of malt was finished in port pipes, another portion of malt was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels, a portion of grain was drawn from sherry butts and finally another portion of grain was aged in double-charred barrels.
Caramelised dates and a good whiff of fresh, earthy vanilla pod.
Fruitcake, burnt sugar, almond, cinnamon sticks and plum.
Subtle strawberry sweetness and continued vanilla.
Very smooth, good taste and very easy to drink. Cost 25 e & for this price, a very decent drink.
