A very rare bottling of single cask Hanyu, this was bottled from cask 9305, and there are just 200 bottles, all at natural cask strength. Serge from WhiskyFun.com awarded it a very impressive 91 points!
Very rich and sherried. Notes of sticky toffee pudding, dates, walnuts and cocoa. Creamy hints of vanilla, pannacotta and soy sauce.
Very big. Notes of creamy vanilla. Cinnamon, nutmeg, overripe fruit. Cooked bananas, manuka honey and peels. Oaky, cedarwood. Sultanas.
Sweet and rich. Rum spices, plumwine, more soy sauce and hints of coriander.
I am the lucky owner of this bottle and it has not disappointed me! I must admit I bought it because of the cool graphics but its maybe the best whiskey i have in terms of taste:)
