Tan Cho is a single malt Japanese whisky bottled for the Hakutsuru sake brewery. Master brewers from Hakutsuru selected barrels of whisky with a minimum age of three years from an undisclosed distillery based on the eastern side of Hokkaido. The chosen whiskies were married together in mizunara casks before bottling at 55% ABV. While we can't tell you which distillery in question the whisky came from (we'll leave the detective work to you), what we can tell you is that you can expect a good amount of that heady mizunara character, along with rich fruit, and complex spices.
