A blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, this blend boasts a core of the beloved grain whisky from Girvan, bolstered by a selection of over 25 malts and grains from across Scotland.
A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum wine and spice.
Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very last.

Gentlemen, I feel it's important to consider price when reviewing a whiskey. If the cost was the same as a good single malt, I'd say you were crazy to buy Grants. But for 1/4 the price (where I live), this is a perfectly acceptable blend. Give credit where it's due. Grants might taste little watered down, a little oily, but it also offers one of the smoothest finishes you can get... ***for the price***
Excelente Blend, a mejorado mucho, lo recomiendo.
Drank a bottle of this on the train from Edinburgh to Dunkirk. Wonderful trip it was! Grants is the brand for me!
Not sure if i just got a bad batch but I can barely drink this stuff now. It has a STRONG note of something I can barely describe. It's like rubber or something or old bong water? I added some water to bring out the finer aromatics and ended up getting a faint note what tasted like soil which is mold. This stuff is cheap so I'm not angry, but due to the seeming lack of consistency I'd be reluctant to buy another bottle any time soon. Seems to be an issue across the board lately. Teachers as well.
Fine as a " starter whisky " to me it's bland , overated , overpriced , I'll hang on to it for visitors , and keep the good stuff for myself . As my teachers report used to say , Must Try Harder .
