A blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, this blend boasts a core of the beloved grain whisky from Girvan, bolstered by a selection of over 25 malts and grains from across Scotland.
A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum wine and spice.
Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very last.

Good for the price. much better than JW red
Tastes like turpintine
The nose is very seducing, hinting of smoke and highland mist, . Grants range somehow manages to include some very delicate Whiskies. Not confined to your purse.
For that price i would say it beats passport, Dewar's white, red label flat. Best in its class..
It's the best overall value and quality drinking scotch for the price. Add a splash of sweet water to make very smooth. Dry, not sweet. No funny aftertastes, unlike very many other blended whiskies. Once accustomed to it, you may other brands taste odd. Just needs a touch of smoke to be near perfect.
