A blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, this blend boasts a core of the beloved grain whisky from Girvan, bolstered by a selection of over 25 malts and grains from across Scotland.
A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum wine and spice.
Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very last.

Like many I drink single malts on special occasions, but my everyday blend is Grants. I used to drink JW Black, but tastes change over time and I've found Grants is more complex. Grants makes some great single malts: Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Kininvie and Ailsa Bay. For quality and price, it's a bargain!
Very nice whiskey mellow on palate and not too Smokey recommend you drink neat or over ice.
Awful. Truly awful. Notes of licorice and motor oil.
Bland, watery with motor oil notes. Great for mixing, not a drink to be enjoy neat.
I've been a Bourbon drinker for years. Been up and down the shelves, I have had a few scotches from time to time but never an expert. I decided on this trip to try one of those rectangle bottles. Into my second glass, the first on I believe I put to much ice in it. Second one I added 1 ice cube and it is much better. It is a decent drink for the price and I like the mellow finish but its still there. Not an expert but it seems a little peaty to me , which I find amusing and I like that. Figured I would put in my two cents before I have had more, which I expect to. I cant see spending 90+ dollars on something I know little about at this time.
