A blended Scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons, this blend boasts a core of the beloved grain whisky from Girvan, bolstered by a selection of over 25 malts and grains from across Scotland.
A light, buttery nose with hints of barley, toasty oak, plum wine and spice.
Custard apples and toffee on the palate, with hints of grist, honeycomb and beeswax. All rather floral too.
Good, zesty finish with toasty barley clinging 'til the very last.

Wow i have given my lady every scotch under the sun from chavis to black label and recently a bottle of dewars on my 48th birthday... we both give you a thumbs up!!!
Ghastly beverage associated with the pavement pirates and low-forehead cretins that shuffle along to the Bigotdome at Govan. Grants does for whisky what Gordon Neely does for youth football.
Get one bottle from duty free to try world's 4th best selling whisky. Loved the taste and finish
NOTE: THIS IS NOT A BAD WHISKEY, but it isn't something I would recommend. You can get better for cheaper, unless vaguely smokey and vaguely sweet is your thing. It's a very non-offensive Scotch whisky, it has touches of brilliance that fade too quickly. The nose is quite subdued so you don't get a full profile just from the smell. You really have to dig your nose in to smell the apples and ripe pears. A light odor of nail polish accompanies it, but lingers in the background, not quite spoiling it but making it a bit rougher on the nostrils. It has a small bite to it, with an oily body. The color itself is a spectacular gold, which looks promising at the start. After a sip, I can immediately tell you that the vanilla is overpowered by what can only be described as a light-to-medium spice profile that begins to burn right as you get the more succulent flavors. You get ripe peach mixed with vanilla, and its finished off with a delicately smoky toffee. I would've rated this higher had it been a little bolder, as it does have flavor, but overall it comes across as just another cheap brew that goes after the class of more expensive scotch but ends up with none of the excellence or taste. The light smokiness is a night addition that makes it stand out on the lower end of the cost spectrum, but if light smoke is what you're after, splurg and spend the extra 5 or 6 bucks on something a little more substantial.
My absolute favourite cheap and cheerful!! At first opening its harsh and has a nose like Metholated spirits!! But the taste is lovely, it is strong with a bite, but is like a cuddle in a bottle. Always have a bottle waiting for the unwary.
