A blended whisky from William Grant & Sons, finished in oloroso sherry casks. Lovely balance.
The nose is quite light and fruity. There are notes of nut oils and mixed peels, hints of honey and a little oaken note. The palate is of medium-body and quite well-balanced. There are notes of sherried peels and sultanas, winter fruitcake with spice and developing oak. The finish is nutty and long with dried fruit notes.
The sherry casks must be pretty well used because I get hardly any sherry on this. Ale Cask Finish is light years better than this.

I'm more of a malt man myself,but because I am fond of sherry matured whisky I bought this blend.I have to admid it was very nicely balanced, with some raisins and a sultana touch.Quite a good value for money. 09 Mai 2014
cheap n cheerfull, tastes very nice.
When I actually got my self a bottle I found it to be horrible, yet when I was given a glass with out knowing what it was I thoroughly enjoyed it. Shows how much preconceptions can influence taste.
