Gordon & MacPhail has kept the distillery of origin for this 30-year-old single malt a closely guarded secret, however, the indie bottler has certainly selected a stunner! Expect aromas of baked apples, almonds, raisin, and apricots, with notes of chocolate, tangerine, and toffee on the palate.
Stewed fruit notes combined with apple, roasted nuts and subtle chocolate. Honeycomb and dried apricot notes are present.
Spicy to start, followed by blackberry, raspberry and apple. Milk chocolate, tangerine and oak also come to the fore.
Medium finish with hints of menthol and lasting cocoa.
