A brilliant blended malt from the independent Pintail collection, comprised of a selection of 2012 vintage whiskies selected for their bold, rich balance. The blend was matured for a decade in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt, bringing generous layers of chocolate, orchard fruits, coffee, and raisins.
Spiced plum jam, a dusting of cocoa, sweet malt, and hints of treacle.
Chocolate-coated coffee beans, plump sultanas, cooked apples, a touch of floral barley.
Rich baking spice joins at the end, backed up by more roasty coffee, stewed fruit and dense oak.
