Godawan Indian single malt is produced at the Alwar distillery in Rajasthan, one of the hottest, driest regions on Earth – a challenging, but rewarding environment when it comes to whisky maturation! The distillery employs water conservation techniques and supports sustainable agriculture using locally sourced barley, while the whisky is matured in a variety of casks, and sometimes treated with botanical infusions. This single malt initially matured in bourbon barrels before finishing in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for a sweet, aromatic profile, brimming with gentle spice, honey, and candied nuts.
