Joining its 2024 releases, here's the distinguished Glenturret 30 Years Old. A homage to the distillery's long and distinguished history, the single malt Scotch whisky is made up of a selection of four casks; European oak, oloroso and Pedro Ximénez seasoned alongside a Port pipe. Just 300 bottles were filled at 40.6% ABV.
Cinnamon sticks with touches of ginger. Burnished oak gives way to dried fruits – soaked raisins and sweet sultanas. Wood spices are bold, dancing with citrus and dark fruit. Wisps of aniseed and liquorice appear later, embraced by soft sweet oak at the finish.
