The Glenturret returns in 2023 with another limited edition release of 10 Year Old Peat Smoked, single malt Scotch whisky that was smoked using peat from the Scottish Highlands and matured in both first-fill and second-fill European and American oak casks.
Creamy vanilla, orange peel, and cinnamon join campfire smoke.
Hedgerow fruits, smoked heather, nutmeg, and lemon sherbets.
Ashy smoke and citrus.
I'm a big Islay Whisky fan and friends bought me this bottle due to its 'Peaty Smoked' Labelling / Name. Wafts of Vanilla on the nose and nice subtle smoke and slight heat in the after taste.....I enjoyed my first glass and will pour myself another very soon. Maybe not as Smokey or Peaty as my palette likes...but a nice bottle all the same
