A terrific indie bottling from Alistair Walker – released as part of the Infrequent Flyers range. This peated single malt was distilled under the Ruadh Maor name at Glenturret in 2010, matured for a decade, and finished in a Marsala wine cask. A total of 215 bottles were drawn from this single cask.
Pancetta, smoked meats, and herb seasoning.
Juicy, savoury barbecued meats and medicinal peat smoke cross with intensely fruity sweet notes – apricot jam, peach tarts and sweet candied oranges.
Waxy peat smoke and brittle toffee, sweet baked fruits with a gently spicy finish.
