A superb single malt Scotch whisky from Glentauchers, independently bottled by Duncan Taylor. This whisky spent a dozen years maturing in a single sherry cask between 2009 and 2022 when the cask was opened to release an outturn of 727 bottles.

Nose
Juicy raisins, berries, and a touch of zesty pineapple, with sweet roasted malt.
Palate
Nutty notes of maple and pecan tart, with flaky pastry, boozy sultanas, and candied orange.
Finish
Caramel, barley, dates, and apricot jam, with a dash of peppery spice on the tail.
