The gang at indie bottler Duncan Taylor selected a fab cask from Glenrothes for this release! Distilled in December 2009, this single malt rested for a dozen years, until the cask was opened to release an outturn of 386 bottles at 54.6% ABV.
Gentle spices with wafts of tea loaf, cooked apple, and musty oak.
Marzipan, nutty malt, and roasty coffee lead to spiced notes of clove and dense dried fruits.
More cakey spice, sweet butterscotch, hints of orange zest, finished up with a dash of warming nutmeg.
