The entry level expression from the Glenrothes Soleo Collection, named for the sun-drying process for grapes destined to become sherry in Jerez - so expect a focus on sherried deliciousness here. Eschewing the vintages that previously featured on Glenrothes bottlings, the majority of these releases feature an age statement. This one is a 10 year old expression, matured exclusively in sherry casks and boasting a sweet, fruity flavour profile.

bitter, not smooth burning alcohol, but u can feel sherry flavors, not so bright as it's in Bunnabhahain 12. So far Bunnabhahain 12 is smoothest and flavorful in sherry cask whisky range.
Great value here. Perfect entry level Glenrothes
Enjoyable if a bit lightweight, good value single malt
Don’t let the age of this one fool you. It’s remarkably balanced. A very nice addition to the Glenrothes new line
Bought this one after sampling some of glenrothes other variations. Was mildly concerned about the 40% vol statement but it was totally unwarranted. This little beauty will give you plenty of pleasure for the price. Rich toffee caramel on the nose, buttery buiscuits on the palate followed up by zesty lemon peel and a rich long malty finish. Never regretful when visiting a glenrothes. A definite dram to add to your collection. Reviewer M. Horrell
