Released at the start of 2016 for the Travel Retail market, The Tayne from Glenmorangie has been finished in selected Amontillado Sherry casks!
Almonds and walnuts, covered in caramel and brown sugar. A little hint of ground clove brings spiciness.
Orange oil starts off the palate, before giving way to brown sugar and more mixed nuts.
Quite long and spicy.
Just one word to say: Heavenly
After a couple glasses of this Tayne, you get a little bit more hat wobble than expected. One more and you might be getting yourself into a little bit of NSFW Tayne ( not suitable for work )
This scotch really kicks up the 4d3d3d3. A few shots of this boy will generate a nude Tayne.
Awesome & distinguished taste
I am big fan of Morangie. I have Signet and Duthac they are amazing. This time I wanted Quinta Ruban but a pushy salesman at duty free gave me this Tayne which has really put me to vast disappointment it has a bland taste no complex flavours nothing to discover once you take a sip, till the nose you may set some expectations but once in mouth it felt blank with just hint of spice.....
