The Duthac comes from Glenmorangie's range of expressions originally released for the Travel Retail market. This particular single malt, name after St. Duthac whose resting place sits at the centre of the Royal Burgh of Tain, has been part finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry and virgin oak casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. Plenty of rich, mellow elements throughout this one (as you'd expect from Glenmorangie), with touches of sticky PX sweetness and herb-y spiciness.

Got as a gift. Not bad. Why don't you advise buyer of its age? However, I did like it better than the 12 yo. JLK
Delicious malt. Soothing.
The Duthac is not my best buy. Not the smooth aftertaste I'm used to from Glenmorangie products. I won't reconmend this Scotch malt to anyone. Reminds me of something I drank in Ireland once. No wonder why it is for the Travel Retail market only. The Scotchmen knows better..
I got my first bottle as a gift and now I almost travel to be able to purchase it. It's a must with a cigar.
Exquisite, rich yet smooth beautiful blend of spice and nutty flavour. A drink to savor. Just delightful.
