The Duthac comes from Glenmorangie's range of expressions originally released for the Travel Retail market. This particular single malt, name after St. Duthac whose resting place sits at the centre of the Royal Burgh of Tain, has been part finished in Pedro Ximénez Sherry and virgin oak casks before being bottled at 43% ABV. Plenty of rich, mellow elements throughout this one (as you'd expect from Glenmorangie), with touches of sticky PX sweetness and herb-y spiciness.

Every drop matters
I'm an avid Scotch drinker, Single and Blended. I bought the Duthac in Cozumel for $60 a Liter. Not disappointed but not sure I get more. That being said its alright by me. Not disappointed.
A decent scotch from my favorite maker but does not compare to the Allta. The Allta is far superior. This is however a scotch to just have around for others to try.
I recently bought this bottle from a duty free and thought it would be as good as a bottle of Alta. What a mistake! Way too simple for a legends serie. Shame on you Glenmorangie, this one is a big fail...
