Description
Initially released to travel retail in 2017, Glenmorangie 19 Year Old Finest Reserve was left undisturbed for 19 years in select slow-growth American white oak bourbon casks, before it was bottled at 43% ABV. A smooth, creamy and fruity expression, fabulous stuff from the Highland distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh aromas of mint and eucalyptus, citrus zest and hints of sugar cane with peaches and vanilla cream.
Palate
Smooth and creamy, with fruity sweetness from apple, pear and orange zest, sweet dried apricot alongside toffee and a touch of menthol returning.
Finish
Mint persists, with toffee sweetness intertwined with oak tannins and orange blossom.
