Single Malt
Scotland
8 Oct 1992
27 year old single malt from the Glenlossie Distillery, independently bottled as part of Chorlton Whisky's wonderful selection. This one was aged in a hogshead after being distilled in November 1992, and eventually bottled up at cask strength with an outturn of just 170 bottles. The art on the label shows someone very impressed with a big plant in a garden, which is wonderful. Plants are great.
Fragrant citrus peels and dried petals, balanced by nutty brown bread with butter.
Honeyed cereals, toasted cinnamon, crunchy brown sugar and a slowly building hint of hickory.
Almond, cherry and the return of the fresh orange notes from the nose.
