Nose: Cocoa-rich, notes of raisins, toffee apples, cr?me caramel and malt. A little sherry, hints of pipe tobacco and cedar.
Palate: A rounded, rich palate with notes of Armagnac, violets, butterscotch and thick, juicy malt. It becomes more spicy as it develops on the palate with a hint of star anise.
Finish: Good length with black pepper and black treacle on the tail.

Another very balanced, very tasty Whisky! Quite a simple aroma, but a really floral, light taste that has almost appley flavours, like a tarte tatin, with toffee and caramel. The aroma is like a light toffee apple.
