Glenlochy, as our friend and Live Draw host Boutique-y Dave would say, is as rare as rocking horse sh*t! That's because the distillery was closed back in 1983, with the land sold for redevelopment a few years later. A lost gem, whose virtues - like all great artists - were only truly appreciated (by single malt drinkers) long after its stills fell silent.
This 35 year old single malt was aged in a single hogshead cask (#3232) from November 1980 to December 2015. Not much of this around these days, . 218 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Candle wax, honeycomb, dried earth, cumin powder.
Palate
Fresh herbs, jam and butter on crumpets, still quite spicy.
Finish
Orange chocolate and a touch of white-chocolate-covered raisins.
