An indie bottling of Glengoyne which after distillation in 2008 saw a decade of ageing in a single refill hogshead. Once Langside saw the liquid fit for bottling, the hogshead was cracked open and yielded 391 bottles at 46% ABV. A wonderfully sweet and malty Highlander.
Porridge with maple syrup, liquorice and sweet lemon curd.
Lots of sweet malt, peaches and cream with milk chocolate praline and caramelised apple.
A spiced finish with vanilla cream and more of that sweet malt lingering.
