Glengoyne
Scotland
Single Malt

Single cask No. 1083, an outturn of just 693 bottles, selected by James 'Jim' Leslie, a mashman at the Glengoyne distillery.
The nose is of good body and quite rich. There are notes of soft oak and thick honey, notes of cut hay with dried fruits and a touch of sherried sultana. The palate is thick and full. There are notes of dried fruits and sherried peels, raisins and chewy oak. The finish is long with peppered oak.

I catched the last bottle at gordon's in inverness, it intense smooth-and sweetness is absolutely unique! My new favourit!
I bought this for myself - my name's Jim, so thought it would be nice to have a whisky named after myself! Really really good scotch.
