From the Glenglassaugh rare Cask Release Batch 3 comes a hugely attractive 44 year old single malt, distilled in October 1972 and finished in a Massandra sherry cask before being bottled in November 2016. Only 479 bottles were produced.
Rich prunes and ripe figs, brittle toffee, white pepper and mixed peel.
Dark Mediterranean fruits, gentle vanilla pod, a dusting of nutmeg, dark chocolate and caramelised orange.
