Originally released for Travel Retail, the Glenfiddich Vintage Cask looks back at the style of whisky the renowned distillery in Speyside used to create years and years ago, which was quite peaty indeed. This smoky dram was matured in European oak and bourbon casks, resulting in bundles of wonderful chocolatey fruit notes, pairing rather well with the wafts of coastal air.

Marvelous. Initial palate is dramaticly smoky. Almost too much upon first taste . However this is not detrimental to the continued pleasure of its distinctive oak taste and a very smooth finish. Once introduced to this unique single malt, the subsequent partaking was even more pleasurable

Has a very nice and peated taste to it, which i am not used to by Glenfiddich. But man is good.
