A fabulous 21 Year Old bottling from Glenfiddich, and as its name suggests this particular single malt was finished in casks used previously to age Caribbean rum for four months! Some cask influence in the form of tropical fruit and spicy ginger to be found in here.
Barley sugar, malt and dark brown sugar, with orange peels, marmalade, manuka honey, chocolate and foam bananas.
Full, fruitcake, spices, buttery vanilla, malty, with oak and candied ginger.
Long, with notes of mochaccino and marmalade.

This is far and away my favorite scotch, incredibly smooth and wonderful taste. In my opinion it is vastly superior to other scotch in the same price range such as the Balvenie doublewood 17 and much better than the more expensive Mcallan 18 and Blue label. Do yourself a favor and buy this.
I prefer 15/18 better.
I know it to be a fine and mature whiskey.
I love the 12 and 15 years. 18 years is great. I bought this last week at my local exclusive whisky shop (only place I have seen this). It was very expensive and same as airport price but wanted to try it. It is ok I guess as the taste is good but I felt the price needs to be trimmed. Low rating due to price vs taste. Pulteney 21 was good buy and tasted way better.
The price is to high and it falls short in all areas. I was not impressed in the slightest and for a 21 Y/O well let's put it this way try the Glenmorangie signet it's slightly cheaper has bags of depth and flavour and practices what it preaches unlike this one a real let down !.
