Glenfiddich's Experimental Series explores a variety of intriguing whisky production methods that you don't see very often at all. For example, Winter Storm sees the well-matured single malt Scotch whisky finished in casks that previously held Canadian icewine! Icewine is made with grapes that are harvested when frozen, producing a gloriously sweet wine perfect for pairing with desserts - and apparently the casks are perfect for maturing whisky. Versatile stuff. This is the third batch of Glenfiddich's Winter Storm.

A bouquet of tropical fruit and candied sweets are perfectly balanced with underlying wine notes.
Soft sweet notes reminiscent of candied fruit and Turkish delight develop into flavours of mouthwatering lychee. The fusion of sweet flavours is soon met with a rich drying sensation from the icewine.
Short and crisp.
