A 15 year old single malt Scotch from Glenfiddich Distillery, made up of whiskies matured in American bourbon, sherry, and virgin oak. Inspired by the classic sherry-making bodegas of Spain and Portugal, the 15-year-old whiskies are left to mellow and intensify in a solera vat, a large oak vat that hasn't been emptied since 1998.
Sherry, citrus - orange in particular, dry wood. Slight suggestion of smoke?
Medium, Sherry, raisins. Fruitcake, spices, sweetness.
Candied fruits, raisins, spices, Christmas pudding, oak takes over.
Lovely whisky, smells so sweet definately made me think of vanilla and fruity christmas cake! Fantastic buy at £30 too ??
If you like Christmas cake you'll like this! I may have even added a bit to the cake on my plate, simply delicious. For me this is Christmas afternoon next to the log fire after an excellent lunch.
Sweet, spicy, warming...this is one of my favourites. I am sad I only got a sampler bottle! On the hunt for a (well-priced) full one!

Stunning. One of my favourites. A complex start of fruits so berries, raisins vanilla and warming honey. Also noted oak, sherry, sweets. The taste is dry, salty, spicy and rich. A long smooth finish, One or two drops for a creamy fudge flavouring.
