This 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich's core range was matured in a mix of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.
Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.
Peels and a touch of salted toffee.
A wonderfully rich and enjoyable Glenfiddich single malt.

This is a fantastic whisky. Not for everyday drinking, but for the cozy nights in front of the fire. Perfect. The people that are complaining and downvoting the whisky becouse of a shipping error should stay with Jack D.
I took me almost a whole year to finish this 1 liter bottle of Glenfiddich and while I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to Whisky in general, I know that I prefer Speyside whisky compared to those that originate from Islay, and I was very pleased with this bottle and the smoothness it contains. It's like a semi-sweet well rounded richness coats your tongue and the warmness of it all...

This has got to be one of the worst whiskys I have ever tasted. It is very harsh on the mouth.
They sent me the WRONG whisky. They sent me the regular 18 year old not the Ancient Reserve. So my review is: Poor. This is the second time I have posted this. So they obviously don't like negative reviews. I think they sent me the wrong whisky on purpose.
