This 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich's core range was matured in a mix of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.
Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.
Peels and a touch of salted toffee.
A wonderfully rich and enjoyable Glenfiddich single malt.

I ordered and payed for a bottle of Glenfiddich 18 Year Old Ancient Reserve. But received a bottle of 18 Year Old Glenfiddich. SO, MY REVIEW: EXTREMELY POOR.
I have always been a fan of Glenfiddich, I have tried from the 12 to the 21 year old and a lot of the limited edition ones too. My favourite is the 1991 Don Ramsey bottle then this one, i think this is better than the 21 year old. I am not a fan of peaty or smokey whisky but this one has a tiny hint of smoke that works well with the other flavors. To top it off i got 6 bottles of this in Morrisons for 29.99 each ! Bargain !!!!!
Sweet water with some wood. You can get more even for lower price.
A good whisky, but not as good as the Glenfiddich 15 in my opinion.
This lad is as delicate as an old lady but has enough kick to convert a try. My favorite whisky to date. Jackie Jr
