This 18 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenfiddich's core range was matured in a mix of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
Loads of fruit. Zesty grapefruit, baked toffee apples. Dry, chocolate Flake-y wood and cinnamon.
Candied fruits and Glenfiddich freshness balances richer notes of dried apricot, more cinnamon and toffee, ginger and dry Sherry.
Peels and a touch of salted toffee.
A wonderfully rich and enjoyable Glenfiddich single malt.

Quite simply a taste of the "Gods" I smile every time I take a sip
I refer to the "A truly awful whisky" reviewer. A ridiculous review that is of no use to anyone. Why is it an awful whisky
This, basically. This is a good whisky, but for me the 15yo has more depth and complexity.
apples apples apples. Hint of sherry, Apples, sweet. great bottle.
The smoothness of what you look for when you invest in an 18year old. Very affordable and underrated bottle.
