Glenfiddich 12 single malt whisky is part of the distillery's flagship collection. It is an award-winning Speyside whisky and an excellent choice for seasoned sippers or those who are new to whisky. It has lots of light and fruity flavours thanks to a high cut point. Aged for 12 years in American and European oak casks, it's also the world's most awarded single malt!
Grain. Slightly floral, mineralic. Spirity, orchard fruit, malty, honey. Citrus develops.
Light, floral, spices. Very smooth.
Sweet, touch of oak and general fruit, oily.
Stereotypical Speyside. Consistent - a good benchmark.
I very much enjoy Glenfiddich 12yo over everything else. I'm not a 'must have every night' drinker, more like 4 - 5 times a week will I relax with a 'two finger' glass during the evening. With 2-3 of those nights, I may do two glasses in the same evening. But during the years of many brands of Scotch, Glenfiddich has a flavor that makes me strictly a Scotch drinker. When I have other brands of Scotch in our home, they're usually given to me as gifts. I have yet to try the 15 or 18 yo Glenfiddich offers , but Christmas is just around the corner.
My first Fiddich. Excellent taste. Not sharing this one.

Fruity and honey smooth with something like a champagne scent. Great for and introduction to whisky.
