Glenfiddich 12 single malt whisky is part of the distillery's flagship collection. It is an award-winning Speyside whisky and an excellent choice for seasoned sippers or those who are new to whisky. It has lots of light and fruity flavours thanks to a high cut point. Aged for 12 years in American and European oak casks, it's also the world's most awarded single malt!
Grain. Slightly floral, mineralic. Spirity, orchard fruit, malty, honey. Citrus develops.
Light, floral, spices. Very smooth.
Sweet, touch of oak and general fruit, oily.
Stereotypical Speyside. Consistent - a good benchmark.

It is mellow and oliy on the palate with a quite aromatic nose, based on fruits and maltiness. Not a complex malt but much better than even good blends.

Flat and uninspiring, money better spent on the 15 or better yet another single malt altogether.
