On 8th June 1865 John Grant purchased Glenfarclas distillery for £511.19s.0d and it's still owned and run by the family today. This special Family Reserve bottling celebrates that quite remarkable fact with a fantastic vatting of predominantly first fill Sherry butts.

This gem is up there with any Glenfarclas - smooth, just a little sweet, and very drinkable. The sherry is unmistakable but there's much more to it as distinct flavours emerge and then ebb away smoothly. Well worth owning a bottle.
