A Glenfarclas single malt distilled in 1994 and aged in a refill Sherry butt until March 2014, when it was bottled as part of their Family Cask Summer 2014 Release. Only 583 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pear drops, malt load with butter and a heap of sultanas.
Palate
The sultana notes remain at the core of this one, though they're joined by dried apricot and chocolate chips on the palate.
Finish
Oloroso Sherry sweetness paired with honey and vanilla-y malt.
