This Glenfarclas Family Cask was a sherry butt, distilled in 1990. The whisky has a lovely richness, with plenty of sherry and rum flavour. This was matured in cask number 5095, which was bottled on the 4th May 2010. A release of 459 bottles.
Thick Oloroso. Syrup. Oak
Sherried, fruits, spices. Perfectly balanced oak.
Long, peppery, oak, coffee and a dusting of cocoa.
