This 1971 vintage Family Cask was matured in single cask 140, a sherry butt. An elegant, stone fruit laden Glenfarclas. This was bottled on the 28th February 2007 as part of a release of 459 bottles.
Aromatic, winter spice. Dark toffee. Peels, rich sherry, liqueur-like character
Mochaccino, cooked fruit, lovely sweetness, dry wood, dark rum, touch of smoke.
Long, sublime with soft wood and herbal notes.
