This was distilled in 1963 at the Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside. After a long maturation in a single sherry butt the whisky is rich and dark. Released as part of the Family Cask collection.
Rich and floral. Blossom, nutty. Almond, woody. Praline.
Rich, solid dryness. Chewy. Madeira, rum, noble rot.
Long, oaky, espresso, bittersweet.
