A very rich and dark whisky. This was distilled at Glenfarclas in 1957 and matured in cask 2111, a sherry hogshead before a 2007 release as part of the Family Cask range.
Firm. Oily wood. Sandalwood, pine. Sherry. Ripe, lush fruit.
Sherry, fruit. Raisins, Muscovado. Toffee. Oak.
Very long, oak, tannic, bittersweet with barley and sherry.
