This was matured in sherry butt number 1758. Distilled in 1956 and released in 2007 as part of the extensive Family Cask range from Glenfarclas.
Nose: Full and sumptuous. Rich and fruity, berry fruits, conserves, counterbalancing caramelised sugar, winter spice.
Palate: Firm. Sherry, sultanas, rum, nutty, oily. Walnut, hazelnut, meaty oak.
Finish: Dry, oaky, dark fruits.
