This was selected by George S Grant and a group of visitors to the Glenfarlcas distillery as part of the "Help Choose the 1996 Bottling" event, held during the 2011 Spirit of Speyside Festival. A very fruity, chocolate-rich whisky.
Dried fruits and apricot in particular, as well as cedar wood, toffee apples and deep, dark sherry.
Chestnut stuffing with sage, hints of vanilla sweetness, butterscotch and cocoa. A touch of pepper and nectarine.
Tangy and fruity with cinnamon, nutmeg and pipe tobacco.
