Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Lush sherry, sultanas, peels, beautifully tannic oak. Barley, malt. Just a touch of peat. Fresh herbs.

Palate: Rich, sublime balance. Rum spice, dark sugar, buttery, fudge, pastries, digestive biscuit.

Finish: Long, oaky, bitter espresso, malt, biscuity.

A slightly dissapointing Glenfarclas

Tried this at a tasting last monday. Lacks overall intensity, and some sulphury notes. The 6 year younger farclas is much much better.
