    Single Malt

Glendullan 12 Year Old 2009 (batch 22/028) - Connoisseurs Choice (Gordon & MacPhail)

This single malt from Speyside's Glendullan joins the independent Connoisseurs Choice collection from Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled in 2009, it was initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels, before being transferred to ex-Côte Rôtie wine casks for a generous three year finishing period. Bottled up at 12 years old in February 2022, a total of 3,245 bottles were released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Buttery vanilla and sweet roasted barley, with floral grapes and summer fruits balancing herbal zest.

    Palate

Citrus honey and delicate blossom lead to more earthen notes of vanilla pod and anise. Quite herbaceous at times, with nutty malt and jam tarts beneath.

    Finish

Toasted walnuts and charred oak, pressed berries, with soft prickles of spice.
